Hello everyone! I’m Serena, and I’m a Blogger and Researcher, as well as a website designer for our EDIfice team. I mainly work alongside my wonderful co-bloggers/researchers Mackenzie and Shelby! I am currently a third-year student at Ryerson studying GCM. 

 

I desired to be part of EDIfice since I am zealous regarding what our shared purpose is; bringing into light the concept of work-related discrimination. While we might not all see it, discrimination certainly still exists in the country, and places of work are not insusceptible to discrimination. I believe that creating a diverse workplace is essential in ensuring that the workplace is culturally diverse. Reflecting the diverse population of today’s society will benefit employers to serve their consumers, clients or patients better and is essential to guarantee all workers are equally heard and represented.
